Brandi passante became an overnight celebrity after her appearance on the reality show 'StorageWars' on A&E. Also, it was a part of Jarrod Schulz, Passante's boyfriend who dated her for a long time and is now her husband. On the show, the contents of storage lockers on which rent has not been paid for a period of three months are offered for auction. Brandi and Jarrod run the Now and Then store located in Orange California and took part in the this show in hopes that they could get some affordable storage units. They did not realize this show was going to turn them into reality TV stars! Through the series they proved to be extremely shrewd bidders, and eventually emerged as the top performers on the reality show. The couple's triumph on reality TV which boosted their businesses. Apart from running the shop they owned, they opened a second one. They also were the main characters of a spin-off TV show titled 'Brandi and Jarrod: Married to the job.'
