Her mother was teacher at a local school and was an unremarkable actor, while her father sold automobiles. Jennifer was the oldest of her siblings attended many theater shows with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's parents split when she was five. Jennifer lived in British Columbia for most of her early years after her mother and the other four children moved there. Jennifer did not have the best education, even though she was being a talented kid. When she was in Canada, she was the victim of bullying a lot. When her passion for theater waned, she began acting in shows to support her mother. Her mother inspired all of her kids to develop an appreciation for the arts.
