Being the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a doctor, and Thelma Burnell Henson, Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on February 26, 1942 in Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. While still a teenager she performed well on the piano. At age 13 she won an international contest in the Chicago Music Festival. Fort Collins High School, in which she got her high-school education in the year 1960, was the place that her family relocated to. In order to pursue her dream, she moved from Colorado to Los Angeles. Modeling was her first job which she enlisted at Powers Agency. Her passion was acting in movies, and Hollywood producers saw her while they still spotted her modeling. Her first appearance on television was as a character in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Michele, one of the most notable American entertainers in history began her professional career as a professional model. She then worked for Powers agencies before venturing in acting in 1964 on the television series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. It was her performance in El Dorado 1966 as the main character, Josephine Joey MacDonald who brought greater attention for her. The film was notable for her acting roles in the 1960s and 1970s.
