Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mother do her job. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Due to the show's popularity, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
